Manage tags
Tags are strings used to describe and identify targets. In this page you will learn how to create, view and manage them.
All tag-related features are available in the Targets UI feature from the main navigation.
Once there, from the sub-navigation menu you can select:
List to assign and unassign tags to targets,
Tags tо see the full list of tags.
Assign a tag to targets
To assign a tag to one or multiple targets, navigate to List from the sub-navigation. You will see the Targets view on the right, which displays all registered targets.
Select the target(s) to which you want to assign a tag.
Once you select one or more targets, the Assign tags to selected targets
becomes active. Click it.
In the Assign tags to selected targets dialog that shows up, type in the name of the desired tag.
If such a tag already exists, you will see a list of auto-suggestions after typing the first two symbols of the name.
If such a tag does not exist - it will be created automatically.
Click Assign.
View and unassign target tags
Once you assign the tag, you can check if the process was successful by:
Selecting a target with an assigned tag.
Scrolling down to the bottom of its Target view.
Expanding the Tags section to view the tags assigned to this target.
You can easily unassign the tag by clicking the X icon on its right side.
This action will not delete the tag itself, but just unassign it from the target.
List all target tags
You can also view all created tags regardless of whether they are assigned to a target or not.
Select Тags from the sub-navigation.
The Target tags view will display a list of all existing tags.
You have the possibility to customize how the list looks by adding and removing columns with specific information.
Click the Configure columns icon on the right.
Select (or unselect) the desired columns.
As in other lists, you can use the Search input field and the Reset default columns icon.
