System configuration view

Purpose
This view enables the user to configure tenant global settings for IoT Rollouts.
Features explained
Distribution Set Type: Set a default Distribution Set type that is automatically selected when you create a Distribution Set.
Repository Configuration: Configure repository-specific settings and policies.
Enable or disable autoclose running actions with new Distribution Set assignment
Enable or disable parallel assignment of Distribution Sets to a device
Enable or disable request confirmation for actions before proceeding with download/install process.
This feature is introduced to facilitate Bosch IoT Rollouts customers in their compliance with the European Directive concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services and is by default disabled.
Before enabling it, please read carefully the related documentation, as it will lead to some changes in the assignment execution and your devices should be able to support this process.Enable or disable automatic cleanup of finished actions.
Specify the action status of the actions that should be taken into account as well as a time span in days that needs to elapse until an action is deleted from the repository. The time stamp refers to the last-modified property of the action. Allowed range: 1 - 1000
Rollout Configuration: Enable or disable approval workflow for rollouts.
Authentication Configuration: Enable or disable authentication modes for targets.

Polling Configuration: Configure poll time intervals for your targets.
The poll time is sent directly to the target and tells it in which time spans it should sent poll requests.
Allowed range (HH:MM:SS): 00:05:00 - 23:59:59
The overdue poll time defines the time span, after the Rollouts server marks the device as not responding, in case it is not sending polling requests.

Artifact Delivery Configuration: Allows to specify the validity period of URLs in days, where the default value is 30 days.

Tips and hints
If you do not choose a Distribution Set type in the UI or in your REST call when creating a Distribution Set, the selected default Distribution Set type will be used.
Permissions
You need the following permissions to see the System Configuration view in…
read-only access mode: TENANT_CONFIGURATION
full access mode: TENANT_CONFIGURATION, READ_REPOSITORY
The cloud user has full access by default for all available service plans.

Configure optional features of your service plan
The DMF and SIE APIs can be enabled per tenant from the Bosch IoT Rollouts UI, via the following steps:
Scroll down to the end of the System Configuration view.
In the Service section, open the APIs tab.
Check either or both:
Device Management Federation (DMF) API enabled
Service Integration Event (SIE) API enabled.
Save the configuration.
Constraints
The DMF API is available in Free plan for evaluation purposes and in the Standard plan for productive use.
The SIE API is currently available on region EU1 only.
