BRIEF OVERVIEW

The MQTT Device Adapter package delivers device management functionality for MQTT-enabled devices to the Bosch IoT Remote Manager platform. It accomplishes this goal by using the functionality, provided by the Generic Device Management Package, and by defining the MQTT Device Adapter messaging protocol - a simple messaging protocol to be used via MQTT.

Our implementation allows for both rich and simple devices to be used. Such rich devices utilize the protocol's full potential and realize complex and effective remote management, while the simple devices can simply send data from one or more sensors.
