Roles and permissions
Team members have access to all subscriptions of the organization.
Available organization roles
The following roles are available for team members. Depending on their role within an organization, team members have different access right.
Account Manager
Can manage organizations for external customers. Reserved for reselling partners.
Inherits permissions of role Purchaser
For the time being, the Account Manager role cannot be assigned via the Bosch IoT Suite UI. If you need this role please contact our support team.
Purchaser
Can configure purchasing for the organization and manage paid subscriptions. Reserved for Bosch employees.
Inherits permissions of role Owner
Owner
Can manage the organization, team members and free subscriptions.
Inherits permissions of role Manager
Manager
Can manage team members and free subscriptions of an organization.
Inherits permissions of role Developer
Developer
Can create and terminate free instances. Has read access to paid instances.
The default role.
Auditor
Can access organization, team members and subscriptions, but cannot change anything.
Read-Only role
Available access rights for the roles
Each role has different access rights.
These built-in roles can be used to manage access rights of your team members.
Depending on the assigned role, the team member can perform the various actions as depicted in the table.
