Coordinates of a connection
The URI of a connection endpoint is composed of various parts, and its syntax might differ depending on the messaging library.
Examples:
Example URI for AMQP
amqp://user:pw@host:port
or in case of secure messaging
amqps://user:pw@host:portExamples for the device connectivity layer - the messaging endpoint is (Apache Kafka)
pkc-q8p66.eu-central-1.aws.confluent.cloud:9092
In case of connections to the device connectivity layer, the UI will prefill the host name with the correct address of Bosch IoT Hub.
Due to the restriction on outgoing traffic in Bosch IoT Cloud, external connections do not work without a manual process to enable network access. Please contact us to enable your broker.
