Add a widget

Go back to the Overview tab and scroll down to the bottom, where you should click Add Widget.

Then select a widget of your choice, for example the Signals Widget.

In the wizard:

  • open the Data Sources section and click +Add Source

  • from the dropdown, choose Query Template

  • in the Query Template field, enter the name of the query template that you created in the previous step

  • click the Save Data Source button under this field

Then move to the Signals Settings section:

  • In the Timestamp Field select [i] .payload.timestamp

  • In the Signals Root field, select [i] .payload.value.acceleration.properties.status.value

  • In the Preselected signals field, Select all signals.

  • When ready, confirm with Add.

Your new widget will appear in the dashboard (Overview tab) and will display the changes in your acceleration sensor.

By default the widget is at the end of the dashboard and you can drag and drop it to any place you like by clicking the Start Sorting button under it.
