Account creation
Bosch IoT Suite can be used by all Bosch employees who create an account.
Customers outside Bosch can create an Bosch ID account.
The Bosch Login, is available only for Bosch employees and is the recommended login option for such users. In this case, the identity provider will be the Bosch AD.
The Bosch ID is an identity provider which is accessible for Bosch employees and external customers alike. However, it is primarily intended for external customers.
The two login options authenticate you for two different user accounts.
Authentication via Bosch ID
If you as an external customer do not have a Bosch ID yet, simply create one, and then use it to create your Bosch IoT Suite account.
Given, your starting point is the Bosch IoT Suite.
Click the user account icon
Select the Bosch ID option
Click Sign up for a new account
A dialog Register your Bosch ID appears
Fill in all required fields:Email address
Password, following the rules displayed there, e.g.
min. 1 digit
min. 1 special character
min. 1 upper-case character
min 10 characters long
Don't forget to check the box for accepting the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy
The success message will instruct you about the need to "activate" the user.
ExampleRegistration successful. We sent you an email to your-email-adress@example.org with an activation link. If you can't find the email, check your spam and promotions folders.
If you have registered the account from a mobile application, please activate the account on the same mobile device.
As soon as you click the link in the email, your user account is ready to use.
Authentication via Bosch AD (Bosch Login)
If you as a Bosch employee have not used your Bosch Login to access Bosch IoT Suite yet, you need to create your Bosch IoT Suite account with the details described below.
Again, your starting point is the Bosch IoT Suite.
Click the user account icon
Select the Bosch Login option
In the dialog that opens, fill in the required fields
Check the boxes for all three required confirmations (the last one is also required for legal reasons)
Click Agree and Continue
When your account is successfully created, you will receive a welcome email by the Bosch IoT Suite team, with your account details.
Such details are also available at any time in the tab called My Account, as on the screenshot above.
