Auth for service subscription

At the time of subscribing the Bosch IoT Suite for Asset Communication, the user needs to authenticate with a Bosch ID.

If you don’t have a Bosch ID yet, simply create one and then use it to create your Bosch IoT Suite account.

Given, your starting point is the Bosch IoT Suite.

• Click the user account icon .

• Click Sign up for a new account

• A dialog Register your Bosch ID appears.
  Fill in all required fields:

  • Email address

  • Password, following the rules displayed there, e.g.
    

    • min. 1 digit

    • min. 1 special character

    • min. 1 upper-case character

    • min 10 characters long

  • Don't forget to check the box for accepting the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy

• The success message will instruct you about the need to "activate" the user.
  Example

  Registration successful. We sent you an email to your-email-adress@example.org with an activation link. If you can't find the email, check your spam and promotions folders.

  If you have registered the account from a mobile application, please activate the account on the same mobile device.

• As soon as you click the link in the email, your user account is ready to use.

The user who subscribed to the package is regarded as the owner of the package instance and has access to all credentials for accessing the underlying services.
